Wonder what the differences between UV and Non-UV Top Coats are? Have you ever noticed your top coat glowing blue or yellow under the lamp?
If it’s blue, it will be a UV Top Coat - this is often used for lighter colours of polish. This is to protect them from fading or changing colours during your wear, for example fading yellow.
If it’s yellow or pale, this will be a Non-UV Top Coat - this is often used on darker colours of polish to preserve the colour. The sun can change how your nails reflect light, so therefore if a UV Top Coat is used on black nails, they may look more blue instead.
